Just bring in your instrument and he will create a free evaluation ticket for you. Over the next couple days our team will look it over to gauge the condition, playability and over all marketability.
With this info we can determine the value of your instrument, and we will give you a call to discuss the findings. Then you can make the decision to move forward,or hold on to it with no strings attached.
02
You Decide The Next Step
With us you decide how you want us to market your guitar. You have three options for selling your item(s).

1. Sell In-Store only -which includes displaying in our showroom, a listing on our website, and periodic email to Chicago metro area guitar enthusiasts. With this option your guitar will be rotated in our paid FaceBook guitar advertising.
2. Sell on REVERB only-which includes a listing on our website. With this option we will not display your guitar in our showroom.
3. Both-for best results we recommend using both

*costs and fees will vary -see below

Ready To Move Forward
We will email you an "Authorization to Sell Agreement" for you to fill out and sign. That agreement will show you the costs and fees that we may have once your guitar has been sold.
Once we receive this back we will begin the process of getting the guitar ready to be marketed based on your marketing choice.

04
Getting It Ready For the Market
At this point we will begin getting it cleaned up. we will take photos, do our research, create the listing, Then depending on the marketing plan, we will display it in our showroom, post it to our social media, our website and Reverb (if you selected that). We will also include it in our used inventory E-mails that are sent out to our customer database.
05
You Accept Your Offer- (or not)
We will sell your guitar for the price you agree to. You must approve any other offers. When the deal is confirmed, we will get your guitar ready for shipment.
This involves things that may be needed such as polishing or a new set of strings. We will bubble wrap it and pack it safely in a box for transportation. We will then confirm with the buyer once it reaches its destination that it arrived safely and in good condition.
06
Getting Paid
All sales have a 10 day waiting period. This allows time for shipping and clearing of the buyers payment. Once the 10 day waiting period has expired (required) and the buyer is satisfied, we will issue you a check with a breakdown of all fees along with an invoice for the transaction, of course delivered to you in your preferred method. (Mail, or Pickup)
